Now I'm back to school.
Been accumulating the school workload.

Need to rush in completing my projects.

The relationship
Sometimes I do wonder whether is it worth the try.
Sometimes it just seemed that certain things do not change and it'll be back to square one.

Or probably, it's just too much to ask for.

Probably some things are just meant not to be yet we try hard to make it work.
Probably it's just time to put a stop to it.

The status
Ready for that title, that status?
I think I am.

The acceptance?
Not yet.

The laziness
Sometimes you're too used to not being at home and the moment you're back, all you feel like doing is to laze at home or just head out with friends.

Sometimes blogging is not another part of you and it somewhat came to a standstill. Especially when you can't blog about what you are exactly doing and the part that you seldom do interesting stuffs in Singapore.

Alright, I need to put in lotsa effort in finishing up the Thailand blog entries eversince I came back last year.

Probably the only interesting thing so far... well, not that interesting... more of a 'argh' than a 'wow'... is the irritating charred patch on my back. Had a pretty bad sunburn from my trip to Maldives. It recovered but it's damn ugly! Gotta give it months to return to my normal skin tone. Sigh.

AND! I'm aiming for the iPad 2! Hopefully, it's worth the buy. :p

Alrighty, gotta nap now since I'm on the night shift today. Have a great weekend! :)

Bangkok Day 1
Booked tickets via Singapore Airlines website for 2 to Bangkok!
They were having Sweet Deals promotion so the price for 2 was SGD821.40!
Wasn't it great?! :D

Reserved a room for Min and I at Asia Hotel Bangkok.
Since the hotel was having a promotion for the opening of the airport express route, a superior twin room cost us 1600 nett/night, inclusive of American Breakfast Buffet. Wasn't it amazing?!

For airfare and hotel alone, it's about SGD550.
Imagine a 5 day holiday that is within a budget of SGD1000! Wow. "^_________________^"

In the aircraft waiting for it to take off.

Been up early in the morning since the STD is 7:10am.
The waiting time to check in and stuffs were terribly long.
I miss the accelerated time in checking in and the security check.

The outside view!

Alright. It's nothing new to me. Bah.

It was... erm... raining.

Something good or something bad?

A photo with min!

Seat 38 J and K.
J! My initials... And that to say... 三八Jane. FML.

Waiting waiting...

Then it's after take off! Whee!
My breakfast of the day.

Actually it's the second breakfast of the day since I had Mac's Big Breakfast prior to boarding.
The plate of noodles was actually too oily for me. Oh well...

The view!

Pardon us. We were seated directly beside the wing for this aircraft type.

After 2hrs of flight time and a horrendous time waiting for our passport to be stamped, we reached the pathway to the skytrain!

Going to try taking the skytrain since it takes us directly to the hotel and it is much cheaper.
Considering the fact that our luggages were still light and we only had one bag each. Haha.

Buying the tickets from the vending machine.

The total train fare was 30baht, we had to do a transfer to the BTS to get us to the hotel.
Nevertheless, it was totally convenient for us tourists!

In the skytrain!

Somewhat that looks like our MRT and a better version of their BTS.

Phaya Thai train station.

Gotta change trains here.

After quite some time, probably close to an hour, we reached the hotel.
Checked in, changed and get ready for the half day tour we booked at the airport upon arrival.
Seriously, I disliked the tour package to the max although it was cheap. 500baht for 2.

It's just like bringing us to the destination with a tour guide whom words were too good to be true. Prefer to book via the hotel tour desk even though it was slightly more expensive.

Lunch was at MBK's MacDonald's and they have the pork burger!
Didn't know about it till min was back with her food. :p
Something that Singapore's Mac's does not have. It tasted like those stir fry pork just that it was in fillet form. :x

Rushed back to the hotel as the tour starts at 1.30pm.
And here we are... To view the Sleeping Buddha! :)

Amazing structures! Vibrant with colours too.

Entrance to a part of the area.

The Thai architecture.

The details.

Another pose! ;)

Me and Min!

Another building!

Is that a bell?

Hmmm...

The admission to the Sleeping Buddha is 50baht.

And it is really hugggeeee!

The donations...

Placed in a row.

You're like supposed to throw a coin into each of the what-do-you-call-that? Container?

One of the palace by don't-know-number-which-king. The 4th?

Full of European touch.

After everything, we went to MBK for a short shopping trip and they were having a food fair!
Yummy!

Dumpling look-alike! :)

The fried stuffs.

And they were seriously awesome!
Bought it twice within our stay in BKK.

The colours!

Nice t0 the max!

Fruits!

And some Thai authentic dishes.

Dinner time!

Ordered Tom Yum Goong with rice and min ordered Phad Thai.
Phad Thai was superb! If only my Tom Yum Goong has more ingredients in it. :x
Price of Tom Yum Goong + Coke (a set meal): 119baht

Took a walk at the supermarket to buy drystores.

Wanted to buy some fruits but imagine the price of it!
159.90baht for an apple. OMG!

Had some rest in the hotel room before heading down for the ah-gua show!
1200baht per person and it's showing in Asia Hotel.
There are 2 show times at night. We picked the earlier one!
It's advisable to buy the tickets early so that you're able to get good gets.
Furthermore, the tickets come with a free glass of soft drinks. :)

The ticket we bought!

Entering to catch the performance!

Us waiting for the show to start!

:p

Finally...

Here it is!
It lasted for about 1.5hours and the tip to the girls per photo taken was 20baht/girl.

Had a good night rest before continuing our full day tour to the Floating Market and Rose Garden the next day.
